The Juice Junkie Master Recipe

What is a "Master Recipe", you ask?  A Master Recipe is the blend of fruits and veggies that YOU really need!  These are the combinations that work best for any health conditions you may want to work on, and can be your Go-To juice, or base for other juices.


Here is mine:
1 Head Cabbage - any color
1 Whole Stalk of Celery
2 Large Carrots
1/2 of a Watermelon
1 Bunch of Romaine Lettuce
1 Lime
3-4 Apples
Powdered Turmeric or Root

 Here's  why I use these ingredients.
 Cabbage 
Great for keeping acid reflux or GERD symptoms at bay, healing ulcers
Lowers cholesterol with Omega 3 content
Contains Vitamin A, B's including Folate, C (in the purple variety), E, K, U and Calcium

 Celery 
Lowers blood pressure
Contains 8 cancer fighting compounds
Fights inflammation - Allergies
Magnesium has a calming effect, helping with stress or insomnia

 Carrots 
Lutein and Beta Carotene improve eyesight
Rich in Vitamin A which keeps your skin in tip top shape
Good source of potassium
Carotenoids help regulate blood sugar and fight cancer

Watermelon
Greater concentration of Lycopene than tomatoes, which is a strong anti-oxidant and fights inflammation
Contains essential amino acids
Lowers Blood Pressure

 Romaine Lettuce
Mild flavor combined with major nutritional content makes this perfect for juicing
High in protein, iron, and all 9 essential amino acids
High in calcium, Vitamins A,B, and K, and other essential minerals
Contains energy boosting chlorophyll and blood cell production

 Lime
You may love limes for the awesome flavor, but don't count them out nutritionally either.
High content of calcium and folate
Anti-oxidant and Anti-carcinogenic, limes remove free radicals and can cause cancer cell death
Citric Acid inhibits kidney stones

Apples
Prevent heart disease by keeping your artery walls clear
Polyphenols such as quercetin are cancer fighting champions, and reduce lung inflammation for asthma sufferers

 Turmeric 
Major anti-inflammatory, the "natural" aspirin
Source of anti oxidants that fight Alzheimer's and cancer
Restores pH of stomach, balancing acidity
Beneficial to Type 2 diabetics in metabolizing sugar

Doesn't it turn out gorgeous too!?! 
Thanks to the watermelon and purple cabbage, it has a great tasty looking color.  No green/brown sludge, but all of those healthy benefits!

Please note, this list of health benefits and nutrients is not exhaustive or comprehensive. These are simply the major reasons why I juice them, and what they can do for you.


Can you think of a single pharmaceutical product, or pill that can do even half of this?  Even if it existed, you know the commercial would have ridiculous side effects like depression, or death.  Seriously, death as a side effect?
